Recruiting for a Civil Supervisor for my client to work on subdivision projects. The role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our construction projects. With a focus on safety, quality, and performance, you will oversee the day‐to‐day activities on‐site, manage construction teams and subcontractors, and ensure that all project milestones are met on time and within budget. Responsibilities
* Establish a safe work environment in alignment with safety protocols and promote a safety‐first culture.
* Ensure adherence to environmental policies, requirements, and objectives by employees and subcontractors.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Monitor the performance of construction teams and subcontractors, tracking progress against schedules and cost estimates.
* Address and mitigate any performance‐related issues.
* Report production costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
* Manage procurement of plant, equipment, and materials.
* Develop, review, and approve Management Plans and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
Qualifications
* At least 4 years of relevant experience as a Site Supervisor in subdivisions or bulk earthworks.
* Proven expertise in earthworks, road construction, pavement, structures, and civil infrastructure.
* Experience working with local councils and service authorities.
* Strong resource‐management skills, ensuring efficiency and cost‐effectiveness.
* Effective leadership and guidance of construction teams.
* Experience in conducting start‐ups, toolbox talks, site inductions, and verifying certifications.
* Ability to mitigate and report incidents effectively.
* Familiarity with DBYD, PMPs, SWMS, and MSDs and ensuring compliance.
