From large-scale activations, intimate meetings to high-end corporate functions, we’re one of Tasmania’s most respected venues known for quality of service and product.What can you expect from a day in this role?The Sales Manager, MICE will proactively search for and be assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell Federal Hospitality conference and events experiences. This role focuses on meeting personal sales targets, developing new business, maintaining meaningful customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer issues.In this role, you'll be responsible for selling our range of products and experiences to corporate and government clients, event companies, associations, and PCOs. You'll manage and maintain these relationships to drive value for our customers and portfolio alike. You’ll be responsible for:Creating Sales Opportunities: Develop a personal network and represent our organisation at trade shows and events to identify sales opportunities and promote our brand. A solid understanding of the sales process, our brands, and our customers is essential to drive revenue and reach sales targets.Strategic Thinking: Analyze market data, identify potential market segments, and tailor sales approaches to maximize profitability.Building Customer Relationships: Implement a relationship management plan to build connections with decision-makers and influencers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.Managing Sales Pipeline and Forecast: Maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts within our established systems.Being an Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for our company, promoting our offerings and reinforcing a positive brand image within our community.What will you bring to the role?Your extensive experience working in the hospitality and tourism industry locally will enable you to build and extend relationships as an ambassador for the Federal Hospitality venues. You’ll also bring the following:Proven experience in hospitality, event, or catering sales.A proactive and target-driven mindset, combined with being a warm and confident communicator who understands customer needs.Exceptionally organized, with an eye for detail.Passionate about business development and building lasting partnerships.Experience with CRM or event software is a plus, along with the ability to complete administrative requirements associated with securing business.What you can expect from usThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to broaden their experience within a friendly and supportive team across Tasmania’s most iconic hospitality venues.
