This is a great chance to join the Human Resources team at Camden & Campbelltown Hospitals, where you’ll play a key role in supporting staff, managers, and HR leaders while contributing to a positive workplace culture. As a Human Resources Assistant, you’ll be part of a collaborative, values‑driven environment that’s committed to delivering high‑quality HR services across the hospitals.

* Being a trusted first point of contact for staff and managers, helping shape a positive HR experience.
* Working closely with the HR Director and HR Business Partners on a wide variety of HR activities, advice, and projects.
* Gaining hands-on experience across HR operations, including orientation, record management, reporting, and volunteer onboarding.
* Contributing to meaningful organisational initiatives aligned with SWSLHD’s Transforming Your Experience strategy.
* Working autonomously in a supportive team environment where your judgement, organisation, and problem‑solving skills are valued.



Are You the Right Fit?
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced HR environment, enjoys supporting people, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality administrative and customer service outcomes.

You’ll shine in this role if you have:

* Experience in HR or a similar administrative role, with a solid understanding of contemporary HR practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, professional correspondence and reports.
* A collaborative, customer‑focused approach and the ability to build positive relationships with staff at all levels.
* Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality.


Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

* Please describe your experience working in a Human Resources or similar administrative role. In your response, include examples that demonstrate your HR knowledge, your proficiency with systems such as Microsoft Office, Stafflink, HealthRoster or HPE Content Manager, and your ability to communicate effectively, manage confidential information, and build strong working relationships.
* Tell us about a time you successfully managed competing priorities in a high‑volume environment. How did you organise your workload, solve problems, work both independently and as part of a team, and ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks?



* Do you have a current Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)? if you hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
