We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Water Reclamation Team Labourer
to join our dynamic Sewer and Stormwater division. This full-time, permanent
role is responsible for maintaining Sewage Treatment Plant grounds and
equipment to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
* One (1) permanent, full-time position (38
hours per week).
* Remuneration package of $2,225.88 gross per
fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $2,671.06 gross per fortnight +
superannuation (12%).

Your
new role:
As part of a collaborative team, you will undertake a variety of
labouring and maintenance tasks, including grounds maintenance, equipment
cleaning, and site safety activities. You will also have the opportunity to
assist operators and maintenance team members in carrying out essential work.
Key Responsibilities
This position will be
responsible:
* Perform
general grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, whipper snipping, and
housekeeping.
* Clean
and maintain process units such as filters, clarifiers, and inlet works.
* Provide
assistance to operators and the maintenance team under the guidance of the
Supervisor.
* Safely
operate and maintain small plant, tools, and equipment (both hand and power
tools).
* Complete
site safety documentation and other required forms in accordance with council
standards.
Essential Requirements
* Class
C Driver's Licence.
* General
Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
* Proven
experience in grounds maintenance (highly desirable).
* Ability
to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong
time management and planning skills.
* Clear
and effective communication skills.
In accordance with Work
Health and Safety legislation, the successful applicant is required to be
vaccinated for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Q-Fever and will be asked to
provide evidence of this.
