About Us
Gunabul Homestead is an all-abilities golf course and event space based in Gympie, Queensland, with a strong focus on inclusion, respect and community. We offer event spaces, cafe, bar, acommodation, pro shop, driving range and our beautifully maintained 18-hole par 3 golf course. Our mission is to make everyone feel welcome and supported - whether they're hosting a wedding, celebrating a milestone, facilitation a training workshop, or joining us a a round of golf and a coffee.
The Opportunity
Work alongside our Head Cook to
* Prepare and cook meals for daily service and catered events
* Assist in general food preparation and kitchen duties
* Ensure food safety and kitchen cleanliness standards are met
* Contribute to a positive and productive team environment
We're Looking for Someone Who:
* Has proven experience in restaurant and event catering settings
* Is flexible and available to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings
* Can work efficiently under pressure and maintain high food standards
* Is a team player and brings a friendly, positive, collaborative approach
* Has experience supervising junior staff or a desire to support and mentor others - Preferred but not essential
* Is passionate about inclusion—experience working alongside people with disability is highly regarded
