About the role
We have an opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to be part of our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team. The role will implement a range of health services including health checks, medical assessments and health promotion to monitor emerging health issues and assist in the development of strategies, policies and procedures to promote the health of staff in accordance with NSWPF requirements.
Based in Maitland NSW, an exceptional opportunity awaits a dedicated medical professional poised to make a significant impact on the health and vitality of employees in the NSW Police Force (NSWPF). This role calls for a self-motivated individual who will operate autonomously while benefiting from the comprehensive support of management and nursing staff based in Sydney. You will be delivering a broad array of health services, including health checks and medical assessments of police employees, and you will play a strategic role in monitoring health trends to aid in the development of policies and procedures that enhance the wellbeing of employees across the state. The position demands a commitment to travel extensively within the state, often necessitating overnight stays, to ensure the highest standards of health services are accessible to all staff.
