Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Events Sales Manager, based in Kembla Grange, NSW. The Events Sales Manager will be responsible for attracting and managing events held at The Grange and Dapto Leagues Club. Responsibilities include identifying client needs, creating tailored event packages, managing bookings, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless operations, and fostering ongoing client relationships. You will also develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and ensure the success of events.
Qualifications
Strong sales and negotiation skills with experience in event sales and client relationship management
Knowledge of event planning, scheduling, and logistics coordination
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Teamwork and leadership capabilities to collaborate across departments and manage staff
Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools and event management software is an advantage
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Hospitality or event industry experience, preferably in premium venues
Relevant degree or certification in Business, Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred
