Our Enterprise Risk team plays a critical role in helping PwC to identify and manage risks to achieve our Firm's strategy and purpose. We deliver both the uplift required from Firmwide Risk itself, but also in Risk's contribution to firm wide transformation, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And we're looking for a leader to take our team to the next level, as we play a critical role involving overseeing the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology and operational risks within PwC Australia within our vastmunity of solvers.
Use the know-how you've gained in controls testing, risk management, and audit, as well as excellentmunication and leadership skills with at least 5 years of experience to grow our Enterprise Risk team. With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of opportunities to create change. We work from anywhere, so your strongmunication skills and team leadership abilities will get a workout. As a leader in the Enterprise Risk team, you'll make a real impact in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.
As an expert in Finance and accounting, you'll lead a team solving problems by overseeing the development and implementation of controls testing strategies, policies, and procedures to ensurepliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. In our Enterprise Risk team, you'll also:
1. Develop and Implement Testing Strategies: Design and implement testing strategies to assess the effectiveness of internal controls across various functional areas, including financial, operational, andpliance controls.
2. Risk Assessment: Identify key risks and control deficiencies and collaborate with stakeholders to develop remediation plans and mitigation strategies.
3. Documentation and Reporting: Document testing procedures, findings, and rmendations in clear and concise reports.municate results to senior management and relevant stakeholders, providing insights and rmendations for improvement.
4. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance testing methodologies and processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal audit,pliance, finance, and other departments to understand business processes, identify control weaknesses, and implement effective controls.
6. Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to control testers to enhance their skills and knowledge in testing methodologies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Other Relevant Qualifications Required
7. Attain Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
8. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to controls testing, such as SOX, COSO, and COBIT.
9. Excellentmunication and leadership skills.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Experience with data analytics and automation tools is a plus.
