Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients, including bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, mobile crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield, a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop, and a Queensland operations office, we support major sites across NSW and QLD.
Due to continued business growth and an internal promotion, we are expanding our maintenance team and seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our maintenance facility in Muswellbrook.
The Role
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the internal maintenance team that are a mix of field and workshop
* Lead and mentor plant mechanics and auto electricians, providing hands-on technical guidance and direction
* Coordinate and allocate labour and resources in line with maintenance plans and scheduled work
* Monitor workshop performance, turnaround times, productivity, and quality of workmanship
* Work closely with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Planner to execute and continuously improve maintenance strategies
About You
* Demonstrated leadership experience in a workshop or heavy equipment maintenance environment, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and develop trades teams
* Trade qualified Plant Mechanic or equivalent heavy equipment trade qualification
* Proven ability to complete equipment inspections and audits to improve reliability and reduce downtime
* Strong safety-first mindset with the leadership capability to drive high performance, hold teams accountable and ensure work is completed to the highest quality standards
