As the organisation's Human Resource Generalist, you will be a key player in creating a positive and productive work environment. Your role will involve advising on HR policies, handling employee enquiries, and collaborating with the leadership team to ensure HR practices are aligned with the organisation's goals.
**Your new role**
As a partner to the leadership team, you will collaborate to successfully implement the people plan. You will also assist leaders in attracting, developing, and retaining talent aligned with business priorities.
In this role, you'll coach leaders on fostering a performance culture by setting clear objectives, providing continuous performance feedback, and developing employees. You'll also guide leaders through performance improvement discussions and ongoing management. Additionally, you'll offer reliable advice on disciplinary actions, grievances, and other employee issues.
You'll ensure current systems remain the single source for all employee data and that it is utilised to its full capacity. You'll prepare HR reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, you'll maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven generalist HR experience
- Current knowledge and understanding of HR legislation and relevant awards
- Excellent communication skills and a high-level attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated experience in the field and to be able to provide examples of your skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, effective stakeholder management skills and a strong customer focus are also important in order to be considered.
