The Rainforest School is a small, independent primary school nestled between the rainforest and the beach in South Mission Beach, Far North Queensland. With two multi-age learning groups (Prep–2 and Years 3–6), our intentionally small setting creates a calm, connected environment that feels like a home away from home. Every student is known and nurtured, surrounded by genuine care and a strong sense of belonging.
Guided by our values of
Connection, Conservation, Community and Creativity,
our approach combines explicit teaching with hands-on, real-life learning experiences that help children grow as capable, curious and compassionate learners.
