Overview
Liverpool City Council is seeking passionate Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our team. The role supports the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry-based educational curriculums for children attending our services, under the supervision of an Early Childhood Teacher. Our not-for-profit organisation focuses on valuing children as active contributors and maintaining a positive, inclusive, cooperative workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of curriculum and learning environments underpinned by strong nurturing relationships that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
- Collaborate with an experienced Early Childhood Teacher and the education team to implement and evaluate high-quality educational programs.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Early Childhood Regulations and current theories/approaches to early childhood education and care.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment across LCC services.
Qualifications
- Diploma of Children's Services.
- Child protection training approved and recognised by ACECQA.
- First aid certificate.
- Detailed knowledge of child development and contemporary early childhood education approaches.
- Understanding of Early Childhood Regulations.

Conditions
- This position is subject to a Working with Children check and National Police Check; pre-employment medical may be required.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency required to be eligible for permanent positions.
