Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) oversees the education of more than 50,000 students across 103 Catholic schools. In this newly created role we are seeking a highly experienced property professional to undertake this varied and interesting position. Working with CESA and in consultation with the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide key duties will include:
- Overseeing the acquisition of property in line with strategic growth plans
- Identifying potential sites for future growth and expansion
- Building strong relationships and liaising with key external stakeholders including developers, councils, institutions and government departments
- Involvement in the long term strategic planning and master planning of the CESA property portfolio
- Managing and negotiating shared use agreements on behalf of CESA with various user groups
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders across CESA including head office staff, principals and managers within schools
This is a role where you will undertake transactional property work, while at the same time having a highly strategic approach to the short, medium and long term property needs of CESA and the Archdiocese of Adelaide.
To be considered for the role you will be able to demonstrate high-level experience in the property sector working at a corporate level. Your negotiation skills and prior acquisition experience will enable you to provide timely and considered advice, supported by strong financial acumen and report writing skills.
Fundamental to your success will be your ability to build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a proactive and positive manner.
Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. valuations) will be highly regarded, although not essential.
