Opportunity
At Beca HunterH2O, a leading Australian water consultancy, we are expanding our Planning team with intermediate-level Engineers passionate about water and wastewater.
The role is based in our Newcastle office and involves supporting senior engineers across a range of water, wastewater and recycled water engineering projects.
Responsibilities
Support senior engineers in the delivery of planning, feasibility, strategy studies and concept design for water, wastewater and recycled water projects.
Conduct hydraulic modelling of water supply and wastewater systems.
Perform GIS analysis, cost estimation and preparation of technical reports.
Carry out field inspections and condition assessments of water supply, wastewater and stormwater assets.
Collaborate with other disciplines on process engineering, design and asset management projects.
Qualifications
Recent completion of a civil, environmental engineering or related degree with a high standard of results.
Knowledge and interest in water and wastewater network planning.
Commitment to learn and expand knowledge of the water industry.
Sound reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Exemplary proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
