Job Title: HR Operations Specialist
This dynamic and rapidly expanding manufacturing business has a vacancy for an experienced HR professional to be based in Townsville. The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking all recruitment functions, including advertising vacant positions, vetting prospective applicants and shortlisting, assisting Departmental Managers with interviews, reference checking, onboarding of new recruits, structuring Letters of Offer, certification tracking and licence registers.
* Support induction training, leave management, assist with performance reviews, reporting and data collection and collation
* Assist with disciplinary matters as may be required, assist incident investigations and disciplinary correspondence etc.
* Compliance managing all policies in conjunction with Departmental Managers
The role will report to the Administration and Finance Manager and offers an above award package to the successful applicant.

* Skilled in end-to-end recruitment and onboarding ensuring a smooth and professional employee experience
* Detail-oriented in maintaining HR systems data accuracy and reporting
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
* Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
* Solid prior experience in a similar role
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
* General HR knowledge particularly regarding performance management processes
* Demonstrated experience of initiative problem-solving and ability to work autonomously
* Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a team and apply a positive attitude to resolving challenges and chasing opportunities
