Lee Civil Pty Ltd is a specialist civil contractor delivering major water and sewer pipeline infrastructureacross South East Queensland.
Our projects include large-diameter trunk mains, pump stations, and complex utility installations. With a strong reputation for quality delivery and technical capability, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyorto join our team and play a key role in supporting pipeline construction projects across Brisbane and surrounding regions.
The Role
This role is suited to a highly capable Engineering Surveyorwho enjoys working closely with construction teams and taking ownership of survey delivery on infrastructure projects.
You will be responsible for managing survey requirements across pipeline construction activities, ensuring accuracy in set-out, machine control, and as-built documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Establishing survey control networksfor pipeline construction projects
* Conducting accurate set-outfor trench alignments, pipe grades, and associated structures
* Managing machine control models and filesfor excavation and pipe installation
* Verifying pipeline grade and alignment during construction
* Undertaking topographic and as-built surveys
* Identifying underground services and ensuring construction avoids utility conflicts
* Preparing survey calculations, reports, and as-built documentation
* Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and operators to support efficient project delivery
* Maintaining survey equipment and ensuring survey accuracy standards are upheld
What We're Looking For
* Degree or diploma in Surveying, Spatial Science, or Civil Engineering
* 5+ years experiencein engineering surveying within civil construction
* Strong experience in pipeline, utilities, or infrastructure projects
* Proficiency with Leica Total Stations and GNSS equipment
* Experience with 12d, AutoCAD, and machine control systems
* Experience managing Trimble Earthworks or similar machine control platforms
* Strong understanding of construction workflows and civil drawings
* Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance onsite
