Responsibilities
* Liaising with clients, architects and main contractors
* Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities
* Master‑plan and feasibility budgets
* Cost checking of developing design
* Tender evaluations and analysis
* Cash flow projects
* Procurement
* Cost reporting
* Evaluation of variations
* Valuations
* Final account reporting
* Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims
* Investment analysis
* Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas: Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
* Full Australian working rights and currently located in Australia
* RICS / AIQS accredited candidates will be highly regarded
* Proficient in the use of Cost XA
* Thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception, through to completion and post‑project review
* Highly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clients
* Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team and control multiple projects / client commissions
