We are seeking a qualified Enrolled Nurse to join our team at our aged care facility in South Australia. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical care to our residents, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care within the scope of their practice, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of our residents. You will also be required to provide clinical leadership and support to less experienced clinicians and support workers, contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
You will work across a rotating fortnightly roster, which includes both day and night shifts, providing flexible and responsive care to our residents. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans to meet the health needs of our residents.
* Provide nursing care within the scope of your practice, including administering medications, wound management, and other interventions as required.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by providing clinical leadership and support to less experienced staff members.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current unrestricted registration as an Endorsed Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* AQF Diploma in Nursing or higher qualification.
* At least 12 months of full-time work experience (post-qualification) undertaken in the last 5 years.
* Ability to liaise with a care team and provide mentorship to others when required.
* Demonstrated understanding of contemporary nursing practice and resident-centered care principles.
