Early Childhood Coordinator Position Overview

The Early Childhood Coordinator role at our organization is a crucial position that involves providing high-quality care and support to children with disabilities or developmental delays.

This position requires strong assessment and planning skills, as well as the ability to work within complex environments and be outcome-focused.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with children aged 0–9 and be able to provide early childhood supports and develop strategies in line with best practice.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate informal and formal assessments for children aged 0–9.
* Provide short-term intervention using best practice models and consulting with Allied Health Professionals when required.
* Assist individuals or nominated contacts in developing, implementing, reviewing, and monitoring NDIS plans when funded.
* Establish and maintain strong networks with community groups, organizations, government services, and service providers.
* Work alongside individuals and families to build capacity and confidence to live a good life.


Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and attributes:

* Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated comprehensive assessment and planning skills.
* Proven experience working with children aged 0–9.
* Outstanding ability to provide early childhood supports and develop strategies in line with best practice.
* Ability to work within complex environments and be outcome-focused.
* Commitment to human rights, social justice, and inclusion.
