Production Operator (Wetherill Park, NSW) – CSR Limited
Role summary: The Production Operator / Machine Operator is a Full-Time position based at Wetherill Park, NSW. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating a range of fixed and mobile plant in a dynamic environment to manufacture high-quality products, including Gyprock, Plasters & Compounds products.
Responsibilities
Operating machinery and ensuring materials are produced to the commercial standard, performing quality checks as required.
Identify and report equipment and product faults.
Unload and stage (put away) various products.
Be involved in identifying risks and hazards and contributing to initiatives that focus on improving quality.
Housekeeping and other duties as required.
Shift Pattern
12-hour rotating shifts, working day (06:00-18:00) and night (18:00-06:00). Every 2nd weekend will be off.
What You Bring To The Role
A great work ethic and strong commitment to safe work practices, with a high regard for safety.
Ability to interact well with others and join the team.
The ability to multitask in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
High attention to detail, with good mechanical mind and troubleshooting ability.
Computer literacy and experience with ERP / HMI – highly desired.
Willingness to work a rotating roster.
Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
