Australia and New Zealand's leading concert promoter, Frontier Touring, is looking for a highly motivated and self‐driven Operations Manager - Tour Operations and Ticketing to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of our live touring operations. Working closely with the Executive Director of Touring Operations, this role is responsible for implementing robust processes, identifying and driving process improvements, and overseeing the day‐to‐day tour allocations and workflow of a small, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for operational excellence and a passion for delivering outstanding live music experiences.
This role requires outstanding interpersonal and problem‐solving skills, as it acts as a key connector between internal departments and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have strong initiative, great attention to detail, strong organisational and problem‐solving skills and be able to autonomously juggle multiple priorities in a fast‐paced, fun and creative environment. You will also be a solid negotiator with strong leadership and people management skills.

About the role:
* Work with the Executive Director of Tour Operations to develop, implement and monitor operational and ticketing processes to enhance efficiency, service quality and commercial outcomes across all Frontier tours.
* Continuously assess existing workloads, identify areas for improvement, and introduce strategies to optimise operational performance.
* Oversee the day‐to‐day tour allocations and workload of a small team, providing clear direction, leadership and support to ensure high levels of staff engagement and productivity.
* Assist with the recruitment and training of staff, including the development of materials and tools, within the team.
* Coordinate with Tour Directors, Artist teams, Venue staff, ticketing companies and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution for allocated tours.
* Manage operational budgets, resource allocation and inventory to meet organisational goals.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, licensing requirements and company policies.
* Handle operational challenges as they arise, proactively problem‐solving to minimise disruptions to events and business activities.
* Prepare and present regular operational reports to the Executive Director of Tour Operations, highlighting key process improvements, team performance and event outcomes.
* Assist the Executive Director of Tour Operations with administrative tasks as required.
* Oversee Tour Operations interns as required.
* Other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in an operations role within live touring or a closely related entertainment industry is required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing a small team is strongly preferred.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate discretion, and exhibit strong emotional intelligence and resilience is essential.
• Strong technology skills, including proficiency with digital filing systems, calendars, schedules and databases, and the ability to quickly learn and apply new systems and procedures.
