Head of Marketing Partner Services
Brisbane 2032, the Organising Committee for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, seeks a Head of Marketing Partner Services to strategically lead partnership and marketing activities that drive partner ROI and enhance the Brisbane 2032 brand.
About the Role
The Head of Marketing Partner Services reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and leads a dedicated team that manages Key Account Management and Marketing Services functions. The role combines partnership stewardship, activations, analytics, and cross‐departmental collaboration to secure and grow partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall management of the MPS department, brands, clients, agencies, and marketing teams.
* Act as a liaison to executive staff within Brisbane 2032, the AOC and Paralympics Australia to foster collaboration between all parties.
* Lead a high‐performing team to manage contractual deliverables and brand activations, driving an innovative, proactive, and creative approach to client service delivery.
* Drive partner success by executing collaborative, cross‐departmental strategic plans and crafting analytical tools to measure, track, and report on portfolio KPIs.
* Support the Commercial Team in securing new partners throughout the journey to the Brisbane 2032 Games.
* Lead Brisbane 2032 teams onsite at various events, functions and meetings, including all Olympic and Paralympic Games.
* Recruit, develop and engage the entire Marketing Partner Services team to ensure alignment, performance and career success during growth towards and delivery of the Games.
* Champion the Brisbane 2032 Values by fostering a safe, inclusive, and collaborative team environment while upholding workplace policies, ethical standards, and transparent governance.
Qualifications and Skills
* Significant direct experience in sports business or related marketing, managing and leading people and initiatives.
* Proven ability to grow and lead a high‐performing team.
* Hands‐on experience developing and leading relationships with strategic partners.
* Expertise in building critical internal and external relationships, with exceptional cross‐functional, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
* Strong background in strategy‐based advisory, business operations, and program execution, with robust financial management capabilities (P&L experience highly advantageous).
* Exceptional presentation, diplomacy, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse audiences from internal teams to C‐suite executives, agency partners, and international sports organizations.
* Track record of managing high‐level relationships with internal senior marketing management and external partners, thriving in a fast‐paced, entrepreneurial environment.
* Proactive, highly organized leader who balances strategic vision with tactical execution to passionately lead project teams and drive results.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's in Sports Management and/or MBA preferred.
