Role Overview
As a Food & Beverage Attendant at Hilton Sydney, you will create memorable guest experiences by ensuring service excellence and maintaining brand standards.
Typical Day
1. Impact guest experience through exceptional service in a dynamic environment.
2. Work with a skilled, multitalented team within the Food & Beverage department.
3. Provide friendly, prompt, and efficient service.
4. Assist guests with seating and inquiries.
5. Set up and maintain service areas with proper mise en place.
6. Handle orders efficiently from the kitchen to the guest.
7. Support barista or bartender duties as needed.
8. Perform general waiting duties, including cleaning and setting tables.
9. Mix drinks and demonstrate product knowledge.
10. Manage reservations, greeting, and seating guests.
11. Ensure responsible alcohol service.
12. Maintain personal appearance and conduct.
13. Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
14. Assist with carrying food, beverages, and equipment.
15. Work standing for long hours and assist with various physical tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
* Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
* Food hygiene knowledge is desirable.
* Hospitality management qualifications are a plus.
* Experience with electronic ordering systems and cash handling preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good time management and ability to follow instructions.
* Commitment to high-quality customer service.
* Ability to work rotating shifts, including late nights and early mornings.
* Valid Australian working rights for at least 6 months.
