ABOUT THE ROLE

We are on the hunt for an experienced and driven Sales Executive to join our RAM Trucks dealership in Wodonga. While a background in automotive sales is preferred, we are equally keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate strong customer service or proven sales success in other industries.

Located in the beautiful Albury/Wodonga region, Blacklocks has proudly served the local community for over 100 years. We are a leading provider of new and used commercial vehicles, known for our exceptional customer service, extensive product knowledge, and commitment to delivering tailored solutions for our clients.

Our trucks dealership sells more than 200 new and used trucks annually and has consistently performed strongly across the ISUZU, IVECO, and RAM trucks networks. In both 2023 and 2024, we were awarded the IVECO Light Duty Dealer of the Year, recognising our outstanding performance across sales, service, and parts, an achievement that reflects our dedication to delivering a first‐class customer experience.

Reporting to the Trucks General Sales Manager, this role is responsible for selling new RAM trucks to both individual and business customers. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and success of a well-established business.

What you'll be doing

* Actively prospect and generate new sales leads through networking, cold calling, and other initiatives
* Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong, lasting client relationships
* Conduct vehicle demonstrations and confidently close sales
* Negotiate pricing and terms to secure deals
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
* Collaborate with the wider sales team to share knowledge and support success
* Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings

What we're looking for

* Proven success in a sales role (automotive or commercial vehicle experience highly regarded)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
* Customer focused mindset with strong problem solving ability
* Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast paced, target driven environment
* Professional presentation and attitude
* A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required
