Job Description:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to provide care to clients living in their own homes, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
As a Personal Carer, you will spend your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients in their homes, supporting with daily activities such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
You will provide care in accordance with individualised Care Plans, support community-based recreational and social activities, and assist with transportation to shopping and appointments.
Responsibilities:
* Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance.
* Support clients with showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
* Assist clients following their individualised Care Plans.
* Encourage participation in community recreational and social activities.
* Transport clients to appointments and shopping.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification is essential for this role.
A current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) is also required.
A roadworthy and insured vehicle to use for work (Third Party Property minimum) is necessary.
