Purchasing Specialist
Metso, Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, Australia seeks a seasoned procurement professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
* Create and follow up on RFQs (Requests for Quotation) in Jaggaer.
* Source new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing ones.
* Negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery schedules.
* Manage inventory levels with the PRIME team.
* Utilize alternate supply sources to meet demand.
* Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure procurement contracts are complete.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement regional sourcing strategies in alignment with global category management and business objectives.
Requirements
* Degree or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
* Advanced SAP (Purchasing Modules), intermediate MS Office skills.
* Strong analytical and project management skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management.
* Proficiency in MS Project, Power BI.
