Wisely Group is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Coordinator to join our team in a full‐time capacity, supporting our operations at Hail Creek Mine.
Reporting to the Account Manager, you will be Wisely's key on‐site representative, responsible for coordinating workforce activities, supporting project delivery, and maintaining strong working relationships with both our client and our employees.
This is a hands‐on leadership role that requires strong organisational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to ensure operational requirements are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary liaison between Wisely, the client, and onsite workforce.
* Support safe, high‐quality project and shutdown delivery in line with budget and contractual requirements.
* Coordinate rosters, mobilisation, accommodation, and site access.
* Monitor and report on safety, compliance, and operational KPIs.
* Attend planning meetings to align labour resources with scheduled works.
* Lead field support activities including audits, observations, and take‐fives.
* Ensure workforce readiness, training compliance, and logistical requirements are met.
* Build strong client and stakeholder relationships, proactively resolving issues.
* Identify operational risks and support mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide timely reporting to the Account Manager.
About You
* Previous experience in a Site Coordinator, Supervisor, or similar leadership role within mining, maintenance, or shutdown environments.
* Strong understanding of workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
* Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, support, and manage a diverse workforce.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
* Current Queensland Driver's Licence.
* Standard 11 and current Coal Board Medical (or the ability to obtain).
* Trade Certificate or Engineering qualification.
* S1, S2, S3 and G2 qualifications.
Desirable
* Certificate IV in Frontline Management or similar supervisory qualification.
* Site‐specific inductions and vehicle licences.
