Our client is a respected, multi-office Queensland accounting firm with over 100 staff, delivering tailored audit, risk and compliance services to a diverse range of clients. This is not a high-volume processing environment; it is a quality-focused practice that values technical excellence and client service.
The Role:
* Act as a Registered Company Auditor (RCA), supporting Partner workloads and adding strategic value to client engagements
* Lead audits and risk reviews for listed companies, private groups, mining exploration, construction, manufacturing and Audit Office‐appointed clients
* Oversee complex audit assignments, regulatory reporting and bespoke client investigations
* Collaborate with tax, corporate finance and advisory teams to provide integrated solutions
* Mentor, develop and lead a high‐performing audit team
* Contribute to business growth and practice development initiatives
* Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships across a broad industry spectrum
About You:
* RCA qualification and at least 7 years' audit experience within Australian public practice
* Proven experience leading audits and managing junior staff
* Strong client management and communication skills
* High attention to detail and excellent problem‐solving capability
* Experience at Manager, Senior Manager or Director level within a public practice environment
* Deep technical knowledge of audit standards, risk management and financial reporting
* Leadership experience with a track record of motivating, developing and retaining teams
