The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Coordinating payroll activities, including new hires, terminations, and employee transitions
* Serving as the primary liaison with an outsourced payroll provider
* Ensuring seamless integration of payroll operations with Finance and People & Culture
* Providing expert advice on payroll-related queries and requirements
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
* Coordinating payroll activities, including new hires, terminations, and employee transitions
* Acting as the primary liaison with the outsourced payroll provider (Aurion)
* Ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing and maintaining compliance with legislation and policies
* Supporting the development of payroll procedures and documentation
* Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
* Providing expert advice on payroll-related queries and requirements
* Assisting with reporting, audits, and compliance activities
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience working in a dynamic environment and a strong understanding of employment legislation, superannuation, and payroll compliance
* Ability to interpret complex information and provide clear advice
* Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and platforms
