Coerco is proud to be a leader in our field, manufacturing poly water tanks, under cabin tanks, septic tanks, troughs, firefighters and floats to the Agriculture, Urban, Industrial and Mining industries.
We're currently looking for a Quality Manager to join our team in Midwest WA and Metro WA locations.
Responsibilities
* The Quality Manager is responsible for all quality related matters for the company. You will maintain good communication and strong relationships with team members, whilst ensuring that the products and services provided by Coerco are of the highest quality, and to the required standard.
* Develop and support a Quality Management culture across all Coerco locations
* Manage and continue to develop the Quality Management System in line with ISO9001:2015; ongoing planning for compliance strategies and continuous improvement
* Manage the development, maintenance and revision of policies and procedures for the Quality Management System and their related activities to ensure they continue to be relevant and provide effective management, customer satisfaction and ensure the meeting of QA requirements. (ISO9001:2015).
* Hands on quality management and control of manufactured products
* Supporting the production team in various ways to ensure product quality is optimum
* Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations
* Attend management meetings, and provide QA / QM monthly reporting
* Monitor and report on performance of compliance through regular facility and department audits, ensuring that any compliance issues are appropriately and consistently managed
* Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, providing guidance on corrective action plans for resolution
* Assist in conducting supplier and due diligence audits
* Manage and report on any inspections and audits from external authorities on products or facilities, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution of any issues
* Monitor product complaints and ensure they are documented and appropriately managed
* Ensure appropriate processes for customer qualification verifications, hazardous materials handling, and product integrity maintenance
* Driving the continuous improvement program and helping to instil a continuous improvement mindset across the business
* Process mapping across other areas of the business as required
* Other quality related duties as required
Qualifications
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role
* A relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage as well as experience with quality standard, ideally ISO9001:2015
* Proven QM / QC skills and experience
* Manufacturing experience
* Agriculture and / or Mining industry knowledge and experience ideal
* Confidence and assuredness to deal with different people and circumstances effectively
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to meet commitments under pressure
* Motivation, maturity, autonomy and the ability to work with a team
* Highly organised
A remuneration package between $90,000 - $110,000 will be offered to the successful candidate aligned with experience.
