We are seeking suitable applications from highly capable and values-driven Clinical Nurses to join our dynamic team at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) in our Rehabilitation and Aged Care Wards. We have multiple positions at various hours available for immediate appointment in Wards 3, 4, 5, and 7.
This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time / Part Time and Fixed-Term Full Time / Part Time appointments. Fixed-Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Please note that we are currently not nominating applicants for the Employer Nomination Scheme visa (Subclass 186). To be considered for appointment from this vacancy, you must already have Australian working rights in place.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 30 November 2025.
What is our Clinical Nurse role?
This position, under the direction of the relevant Senior Registered Nurse(s), practises as a Clinical Nurse in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Making Flowchart; provides advanced, comprehensive and evidence-based nursing care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team; upholds and functions within the core values of the organisation of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity; acts as a role model, providing leadership, support, team building and change management through respect, recognition and collaboration.
OPH - Ward 3 and 4
Ward 3 is a 25-bed geriatric acute and rehabilitation unit admitting patients with various health issues while Ward 4 is a 30-bed geriatric rehabilitation unit. Nurses have great opportunities to upskill and gain experience in different areas. The wards also have good SDN support.
OPH - Ward 5
Acute medical ward with 30 beds. It has a supportive team with its own SDN and CNS to support and develop staff. Further learning opportunities and progression opportunities are available.
OPH - Ward 7
Thirty-bed younger adult rehabilitation unit providing speciality nursing in reconditioning, orthopaedics, amputee, renal and cancer. Provides opportunities for wound care skills and is the only rehabilitation unit providing shared care in CAPD (continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis).

Area Profile
Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) Provides Specialist Health Care Services For The Community In The North Metropolitan Area. The Hospital Has 186 Beds And Employs Over 596 Staff Who Treat Over 95,000 Patients Every Year. OPH Was Opened In 1962 And Is Located In Stirling, 14 Kilometres From The Perth Central Business District. The Hospital Provides a Comprehensive Range Of Specialist Health Care Services For The North Metropolitan Suburbs. The Services At OPH Are Provided By Three Main Specialties:

Rehabilitation and Aged Care Services and Younger Adult Rehabilitation,
Surgical Services, and
Women’s and Newborn Services.

Each of these specialties has a dedicated Allied Health Team incorporating diabetes, dietetics, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physiotherapy, podiatry, social work, and speech pathology and more.
