The GV Health Haemodialysis Unit is the largest satellite service in the Hume Region. Our patients receive dialysis treatment in a newly developed unit with 16 chairs including 4 isolation rooms. We pride ourselves on providing holistic patient‐centred care to individuals living with kidney disease in the Greater Shepparton area and surrounding communities.
The role of Nurse Practitioner – Renal in the Haemodialysis unit includes providing advanced and extended practice skills including coordination, assessment, planning and education to individuals living with acute and/or chronic renal related conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will practice in collaboration with Nephrologists to deliver optimal patient‐focussed care that encompasses the clinical domains of the practice framework.
Requirements
* AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner
* Experience in renal based nursing across a variety of settings
* Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
