Play a role in supporting North Queensland’s lifesaving community as a Regional Administrator!
We’re looking for a highly organised and community-minded Regional Administrator to support our North Queensland Branch. This role is central in ensuring our branch board, branch committees, office bearers and clubs are supported with professional, efficient, and accurate administrative services. This position is based in our Cairns office.

What You’ll Do:
* Provide professional reception and administrative support to the regional office
* Process daily financial transactions, banking, invoices and reporting
* Support in the preparation of branch communications including newsletters and updates, annual branch report and audit documentation.
* Prepare agendas, meeting papers and take accurate minutes for Branch Boards, Committees and Panels
* Maintain records, correspondence, asset registers and Surf Life Saving platforms including Surfguard
* Support governance processes and assist clubs with affiliation and compliance requirements
* Coordinate facility bookings, pool vehicles and regional activities
* Assist with surf sports carnivals and key annual events
* Maintain strong working relationships with branch and club office bearers
About You:
Essential
* Current Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain).
* Proven experience in an administrative support role.
* Strong financial processing and reporting skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power-Point).
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Outstanding organisational skills and time management.
* Ability to work autonomously while providing a high level of support.
* Strong attention to detail.
Desirable
* Understanding of MYOB accounting software.
* Experience using SLSA’s Surfguard membership database.
* Understanding of Surf Lifesaving or a similar community/volunteer-based activity, including experience working with volunteers
