This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Tullamarine.
Working operational hours, you will co-ordinate and manage the team of 8 technicians responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Materials Handling System and associated freight equipment.
About the Role:
Your responsibilities will include,
* Proactive day to day supervision of all operational activities ensuring the materials handling system is operational, issues are rectified safely, quickly and efficiently
* Monitor and report on systems performance
* Assist with effective and efficient management of a rostered team environment, repairs and maintenance scheduling & spare part sourcing and ordering via CMMS
* Maintain a high level of WH&S and update Health and Safety records
* Analyse and Measure shift, process and system operational performance against KPI's
About you
Your qualifications and experience will include-
* Safety First approach
* Trade or tertiary qualifications along with experience (Electrical)
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience, motivating and delegating tasks.
* Experience in mechanical drives, including motor/gearboxes, conveyor belting (Desirable)
* Experience beneficial in AS-I interface systems, Siemens PLC, Profinet & Profibus & SCADA systems
* Technical understanding of automated control systems or high-speed processing environments would be highly valuable.
* Previous experience in leading & supervising autonomously.
