Job Opportunity: Building Regulations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Building Regulations Specialist to lead and manage complex building projects.

* Oversee Class 2-9 building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Conduct in-depth assessments and inspections of buildings under the BCA and Access Acts.
* Identify and rectify defects and non-compliances under the Home Building Act.
* Prepare detailed reports and provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders on building regulatory matters.
* Develop and implement project documentation, fire safety certifications, and fee proposals.
* Supervise defect rectification works and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Key Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years experience in Building Regulations.
* Tertiary qualifications in Building & Construction.
* Strong knowledge of BCA, Australian Standards, EP&A Act, and Home Building Act.
* Excellent inspection and reporting skills.
* High computer literacy and strong communication skills.
* Current Class C Driver's Licence.
* A proactive mindset and genuine interest in improving the built environment.
