About the Role
Cogstate Clinicians are clinical psychologists or neuropsychologists who deliver remote clinical interviews and cognitive assessment batteries to subjects with preclinical dementia enrolled in pharmaceutical clinical trials.
All consultants receive comprehensive, fully compensated training on Cogstate operational policies, study procedures, and virtual cognitive assessment before performing remote scale administrations. Regular supervision and ongoing recalibration of clinical skill set will be provided.
The candidate for this role must have the following experience:
Experience administering Vineland-3 (VABS)
Experience administering Bayley-4
Experience working in pediatrics
Currently residing in Australia
Key Responsibilities
Remotely administer semi-structured clinical interview assessments and cognitive batteries to study subjects and caregivers.
Deliver computerized and traditional cognitive assessments via a tele-health platform.
Score completed scale administrations.
Participate in regular clinical skill recalibration activities.
Provide reviews of completed neuropsychological test batteries for central monitoring to ensure accuracy in administration and scoring.
Review response forms and recordings of remote scale administrations and offer feedback to raters via email and telephone communications.
Qualifications & Expertise
Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, behavioral neurology, or related field.
Formal training in neurodegenerative disease, clinical interviewing and cognitive assessment.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with direct clinical interviewing and psychological assessment in clinical research, academic or clinical settings.
Direct experience with cognitive/behavioral/functional assessment of neurological/psychiatric populations.
Ability to meet deadlines, highly organized and methodical with attention to detail.
Proficiency with MS Office, email, teleconference platforms such as Skype, Zoom or similar applications, and cloud-based storage services.
