Part-Time Special Needs Education Assistant (0.6 FTE Wednesday – Friday)
Applications are invited for a part-time Special Needs Education Assistant position, with the potential for ongoing employment, from suitably qualified applicants to join our school community.

Selection Criteria
Education
Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education and demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the following areas:
Excellent oral, written and digital communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with students, parents and teaching staff
Capacity to support the general health, wellbeing and safety needs of students
The ability to show initiative, work independently, and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
Ability to assist in the implementation and support of teaching and learning programs, including working with small groups and individual students
Qualifications Required
Appropriate Children's Services qualifications (or equivalent)
Relevant Accreditation requirements (or willingness to obtain)
Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain) and Working with Children Card.
