We foster positive community impact while providing our team with opportunities for professional growth, encouraging every employee to feel like an integral part of our journey towards sustainability.The RoleWe believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for a I&C Supervisor to join our Gransolar Australia team.The Supervisor I&C is committed to delivering robust, secure, and efficient control solutions for large-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.This role ensures seamless integration of advanced automation technologies through meticulous design, precise commissioning, and adherence to industry-leading standards for reliability and cybersecurity. By collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and leveraging technical expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and network configuration, the engineer drives operational excellence and supports Australia's transition to sustainable energy.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for project design activities throughout the design phase.Act as the primary interface with the relevant Network Service Provider (NSP) during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities related to the SCADA system. Build and maintain strong relationships with authorities, grid operators, regulators, market operators, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and compliance. Serve as the primary contact for managing emergencies and coordinating with AEMO.Optimize SCADA software and implement PLC modifications as required.Provide technical support during contract negotiations with local suppliers.Assist the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Asset Management teams across the Australian portfolio.Oversee day-to-day project development, including setting priorities and coordinating activities.Ensure adherence to project quality control standards and procedures.Report project performance, KPIs, and incidents to the Corporate Headquarters team in a timely manner.Skills & Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering (or equivalent).3 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control systems engineering, preferably in:Systems Integration environments.EPC projects for renewable energy or industrial in:PLC coding and troubleshooting (Rockwell, Schneider, Codesys or similar platforms).Network configuration and industrial communication protocols.Cybersecurity compliance for critical infrastructure.Familiarity with SCADA systems, BESS control, and solar plant problem-solving and project coordination skills.Availavility to move between our Solar Farms once the project is finishedWhy Join Us?Gransolar Group is more than an industry leader—we're a team driven by innovation, sustainability, and support.
