The Commission requires a skilled Network Engineer to support the maintenance and enhancement of its network infrastructure. As a key member of the Digital Operations Team, you will contribute to the investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of network problems.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Contribute to the investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of network problems.
2. Work independently with broad direction to perform complex network engineering work.
3. Highlight perceived security risks to managers.
4. Identify areas of risk and review the adequacy and effectiveness of the Commission's approach to risk in the use of ICT.
5. Exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and application of practices and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
* Minimum CCNA certified, CCNP and/or CCIE desirable.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to contribute to projects and initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Benefits:
The Commission offers a competitive salary range of $96,503 - $108,869 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus 15.4% superannuation. Appointment is conditional on successfully completing a national police check.
