Senior Network Engineer Role
In this senior network engineering position, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust telecom infrastructure solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and security for broadband and telecom services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Network Infrastructure Design: Design, implement, and optimize BNG, MPLS, VPN, and IP peering solutions to ensure scalability and high availability.
* BNG Configuration & Management: Configure and monitor BNG devices for subscriber management, PPPoE, DHCP, and traffic shaping.
* IP Peering & BGP Optimization: Establish and manage IP peering relationships, optimize BGP routing, and ensure efficient traffic exchange.
* Traffic Engineering & Quality of Service: Implement traffic shaping and QoS policies to prioritize critical services and optimize network performance.
* Network Security Protocols: Maintain security through firewalls, VPNs, and other protocols, collaborating with security teams to address vulnerabilities.
* Team Collaboration & Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in telecom or broadband networks.
* Proficient in BNG, MPLS, VPN, BGP, IP peering, and traffic management.
* Experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) and IP routing protocols.
* Familiarity with broadband services (e.g., DSL, FTTH, PON).
