We are seeking a driven and capable Account Manager to lead public relations and social media campaigns across a portfolio of internal brands and external clients. This role requires a confident communicator with a strong understanding of both media and digital marketing environments, who can manage client relationships, deliver high-quality content, and oversee campaign performance.
You will be responsible for day-to-day account management, content creation, campaign execution and performance reporting across PR and digital platforms.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of PR and social media strategies.
* Manage media outreach including press releases, opinion columns, media commentary, media events and interview opportunities.
* Plan, execute and report on organic and paid social media campaigns.
* Create and oversee PR activity and content calendars, including short-form video and multimedia platform-specific content.
* Track media coverage and social metrics, delivering clear performance insights with the inclusion of AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance content development.
Qualifications
* Minimum 4 years of public relations experience (agency or in-house)
* Minimum 4 years of experience managing social media, including paid and organic campaigns
* Strong writing and communication skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
* Familiarity with media monitoring platforms, social tools and campaign reporting
* Experience or familiarity with the financial services industry is highly preferred
* Minimum: Bachelors University Degree
* Must be an Australian citizenship holder
