Senior / Lead Dynamics 365 Developer
Your new company
You'll join a respected organisation in the education sector that is progressing through a significant modernisation of its digital environment. The business is investing heavily in unifying a range of systems into a more cohesive enterprise platform, supported by a large transformation roadmap. Executive leaders are committed to building a sustainable internal capability that can maintain and evolve this environment in the long term. The organisation is based in Sydney and operates on a hybrid work pattern.
Your new role
The position sits within the Continuous Improvement function - a team that bridges the gap between delivery and operations. Once major project teams release new features or components, responsibility transitions to this group to support, enhance, and refine these solutions.
As a Senior / Lead Dynamics 365 Developer, you will become one of the technical pillars of the team. The role involves guiding developers, analysts, QA specialists, and a Scrum Master to lift engineering maturity and embed stronger delivery practices. Hands‑on development across Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and related tools will form a core part of the work. The position also involves improving CI/CD processes, establishing solid environment configurations, strengthening development standards, and ensuring alignment with design systems and monitoring practices.
This opportunity allows you to directly influence how the organisation builds, maintains, and evolves its enterprise platform as it grows in capability.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive commercial experience working with Dynamics 365 and the broader Microsoft platform.
A track record in fast-paced delivery environments where outcomes and momentum matter.
The ability to set engineering direction, coach team members, and champion high-quality technical practices.
A practical, hands-on approach rather than a purely conceptual or theory-led style.
Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Pages, CI/CD pipelines, environment setup, design system integration, and monitoring/observability.
Confidence to introduce structure and clarity in an organisation that is still maturing its internal development capability.
Strong collaboration skills across delivery functions, business stakeholders, and operations.
What you'll get in return
A highly influential role where you can shape how the organisation builds digital capability from the ground up.
Direct impact on engineering standards, delivery quality, and team capability uplift.
A clean and relatively modern landscape that suits someone who prefers building things properly rather than managing heavy legacy.
A simple, efficient interview process that can move quickly.
A hybrid Sydney-based work model and the scope to grow into a leadership pathway while remaining deeply hands-on.
