About The Role
Provide high-quality, evidence-based, flexible, and responsive speech pathology services to clients at Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre (BCRC). Demonstrate collaborative professional leadership within the BCRC interdisciplinary team and Barwon Health speech pathology teams. Support the development of less experienced staff and undergraduate students through teaching, supervision, and guidance, while managing designated portfolios and quality improvement projects aligned with Barwon Health's Strategic Plan and Belmont CRC and Speech Pathology Department Business Plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation for communication and swallowing disorders
* Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to develop goal-directed rehabilitation plans with consumers and carers
* Provide supervision, teaching and support to Grade 1 Speech Pathologists, Allied Health Assistants and students
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and clinical projects aligned with service priorities
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Speech Pathologist eligible for Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
* Demonstrated experience delivering speech pathology services, particularly in neurological or rehabilitation settings
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
* Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development and continuous quality improvement
