The Opportunity
As aLibrary Experience Officer, you will be part of the Library's Frontline Services team, ensuring welcoming and inclusive spaces and services for Monash students, staff, alumni, and visitors.
You will support access to library print and online collections, solve and report facilities issues, and maintain a safe environment.
You will also collaborate with other library staff to plan and facilitate events that support student inclusion and engagement, aiming to delight by exceeding expectations.
Working Hours
On-site, Tuesday to Friday; alternating between a 7:45 am-4:06 pm and a 10 am-6 pm pattern each week.
Responsibilities
Ensure libraries are welcoming and safe spaces.
Monitor and respond to reports of building and maintenance faults.
Collaborate with colleagues in design, delivery, and evaluation of user experience programs supporting inclusion and belonging.
Respond to, answer, and refer enquiries from library users.
