About the Role
Your valued skills will be maximised working in all areas of the perioperative environment. If you are looking to grow as a perioperative nurse, then this position is for you. We deliver a wide range of surgical services Monday to Friday with no on call requirements, providing a great work life balance. You will be part of a dedicated team who are committed to patient focused care.
Grampians Health Stawell has one operating theatre that is utilised Monday to Friday.
We provide a wide range of surgical services by our visiting surgeons including general, gynaecological, orthopaedic, endoscopy, ENT and ophthalmology with GP anaesthetists. We are supported by a dedicated Education team, Infection Control Manager and Regional Support Networks.
Skills and Experience
1. Recent or previous experience in Perioperative Nursing
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Full and unrestricted registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA)
4. Clinical expertise and commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement
5. Self-motivated with a strong customer focus

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $34.17 - $48.26 per hour.
