Work will be done on-site at client locations, in-office technical configuration, and at times remotely for customer locations in the NJ / NY Metro area.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical services to our clients based in the New Jersey/New York metro marketsResearch technically sound solutions to small and medium business technology environmentsUtilize monitoring tools and services to support our client baseProvide outstanding customer service with direct interaction with the client baseDocument project and support calls with clear and concise communicationsSet up system and network architecture for new and current business clientsInstall multi-vendor hardware technologies in Server, SAN, LAN, WAN, VPNMonitor Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutionsBasic Skill Proficiencies Required in the following technologies:Active Directory / Group Policy configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenancePrior Managed Services (MSP) experience requiredMicrosoft Azure, Intune, Android, and iOS knowledgeVirtualization experience with VMWare / Hyper-V, ISCSI, LAN/WAN, WiFi, Firewall, and Routing knowledgeWindows Server OS experience with install, troubleshooting, management, and maintenanceBasic Linux knowledge is a plus, but not requiredRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred5+ years of experience serving IT support needs required; prior MSP experience is requiredPrior experience with Microsoft 365 and Teams requiredStrong Windows Desktop experience, installation, and troubleshootingMac experience is a plusAbility and comfort working directly with clientsExcellent documentation skills requiredAbility to write technical processes and perform technical dutiesLicensed and own a vehicle, willing to travel within the NJ/NY Metro areaAdvanced understanding of IP, DNS, and the OSI model; knowledge of current and previous technologiesSolid communication skills with professional client interactionKey industry certificationsExceptional problem-solving skillsThis is a career-oriented position with excellent benefits, including 401k with company match, travel reimbursement, and paid time off.
