The Opportunity
Our client, a fast-growing organisation based in South Yarra, needs an experienced
Accounts Payable Officer
for an immediate 2-month contract working 3-4 days per week.
This is your chance to step into a busy, well-established AP function where you'll manage the full cycle—from invoice processing through to payment—while building strong supplier relationships and keeping financial operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
* Process invoices end-to-end: receipt, coding, approval, and payment
* Reconcile AP ledgers, credit cards, and supplier statements
* Handle supplier queries, resolve payment disputes, and maintain strong relationships
* Prepare reports on outstanding liabilities and payment activity
* Support month-end processes and audit preparation
* Work with finance and operations teams to ensure smooth workflows
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
What You Need
* Proven accounts payable or finance administration experience
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* MYOB experience highly regarded (or similar accounting software)
* Advanced Excel skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Available to start ASAP for 3-4 days per week over 2 months
