About this role
* This permanent full-time Allied Health Professional position is an exciting opportunity to work with our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team, providing specialist assessment and treatment services to clients and their families or carers.
In this rewarding role, you will:
1. Deliver quality care to clients based on best practice principles and within a collaborative framework;
2. Undertake specialist assessments and develop treatment programs for clients with major and complex mental health problems;
3. Promote community awareness and act as a consultant to other agencies regarding mental health support and management;
4. Ensure delivery of comprehensive clinical services through assessment, case management, and individual therapies, including specialised therapies;
5. Function as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation to colleagues as required.
We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our CAMHS North Team. To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia and Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, or equivalent qualifications.
