Vawdrey Australia is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and reliable heavy vehicle driver to join our Repairs and Services Department.
This role will be responsible to
- Transport semi-trailers to and from weighing facilities
- Delivery or pickup of semi-trailers from company customers when required
- Conducting testing ( swing test) on trailers when required
- Movement of trailers on site
- Ensure workshop yard is kept in a tidy manner at all times
- Cleaning of the truck and trailers when required
- Other duties as instructed by the Service & Repairs Manager or the Workshop foreman
- Picking trailer parts and organizing the yards
To succeed in this role you will have
- Heavy industry MC license
- Knowledge of the heavy vehicle industry
- Effective communication skills
- Rapid learner with an eye for details
- willingness to assist with other duties in the workshop when required.
As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to participate to a full pre-employment musculoskeletal assessment, audiometry assessment and instant drug and alcohol test.
