Full Time Ongoing 0.95 EFT

Position Overview

Western District Health Service (WDHS) is seeking an organised and proactive Accommodation & Nursing Workforce Officer to join the Clinical Access and Resource Unit (CARU). The role supports safe and effective service delivery by coordinating nursing workforce requirements and managing staff accommodation across WDHS. Working closely with key stakeholders, the position plays a vital role in ensuring nursing services are appropriately resourced and supported.

Key Responsibilities

* Support nursing rosters in line with legislative and Enterprise Agreement requirements
* Coordinate casual, internal and agency staffing
* Administer the casual nurse bank
* Support onboarding and compliance of nursing staff
* Manage day‐to‐day staff accommodation, including bookings, allocation, system maintenance and liaison with internal teams and external service providers

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced healthcare environment. Experience in workforce coordination, rostering, accommodation or health administration is highly regarded.
